I bought this before there were any reviews for it on amazon because I knew that if it sucked amazon would let me return it. Well, the return never happen because this thing is AWESOME. I was looking for a slow cooker that was (hopefully) very low in lead, as I try to cook healthy for my family and there is chatter on the internet about lead content of the glaze used in alot of slow cooker inserts.

Some say there is massive levels of lead, some say there isn't. I didn't know what to believe but I figured that stoneware might be the way to go. The box this slow cooker arrived in said, "75% less lead than leading brand of slow cooker".
